A bit late to be saying this, but I managed to get on the Indie Boardgames panel at the first inaugural PAX Aus, along with Anthony Sweet [Owner, Handwritten Games], Sean Carroll [Managing Director, 93 Made Games], Wesley Lamont [IManaging Director, RAEZ], Paul Nicholas [Blue Room Games], and Alex Dijk [Blue Room Games]!

Here’s the view from behind the table:

We discussed our design methods and a bit about production as well. My advice can easily be summed up: playtest endlessly and read The Art of Game Design by Jesse Schell.

  1. I can see me! Was a fantastic panel! Now to wait for Professor Pugnacious to be released so I can play it with all my friends and enjoy its excellence 😀
